The Keurig Mini brewer is a great solution for gourmet coffee lovers in locations where a compact size, and minimal features is ideal. It is an excellent companion for vacation homes, cabins, college dorms, boats, RVs, or home office desktops. The Mini is compact, easy to use and brews an 8-ounce cup anywhere you can take it along and plug it in. The mini heats 8 ounces of water in about 3 minutes and then brews just like our regular brewers with no water remaining in the brewer. Now you can enjoy consistently brewed gourmet coffee tea and hot cocoa, virtually anywhere.
All Keurig brewers use Keurig's patented K-Cup (dedicated pod-like) single portion packs. K-Cups are "mini-brewers" that eliminate the hassle of grinding beans, measuring coffee, handling filters and messy clean-up while brewing a gourmet cup of coffee or tea in less than one minute. Gourmet coffees, teas and hot cocoa distinguish Keurig from its competition. With over 200 different coffee, tea and hot cocoa varieties from 13 gourmet partners, Keurig is designed to meet the many tastes of hot beverage drinkers.

My wife and I received this as a Christmas gift and have been enjoying it ever since. It makes a great cup of coffee every time and only takes a couple minutes to fully brew. Simply a great product for those who don't make large pots of coffee daily or simply need a cup quick without wanting to pay $3 a cup. I fully recommend this product to any coffee lover. Even if you have a traditional coffee maker this may be a nice addition for the sake of convenience.

I honestly think that Keurig coffee makers are simply the best coffee makers on the market. They are more expensive for a reason...you are getting a high quality, well designed machine that makes a perfect cup of coffee everytime. I will NEVER go back to the old filter machines ever again. If you like well designed appliances that are very easy to operate and very easy to clean...THIS IS IT. I am starting with the smallest unit they had available and am using it in my office but will also move up and get another unit for my home after I retire.
I would highly recommend this product!!

I bought a mini and had to return it because the coffee was VERY weak and tasteless, no matter what I did. I read somewhere that the mini coffee was weaker than the other keurig models, so I bought a B40 and I am VERY pleased with the strength and taste of the coffee. There is only a $10 price difference between the two models, so if you like strong and flavorful coffee I recommend the standard B40 model over the mini B30.

Purchased this as a gift for my Aunt who had been drinking instant coffee for years. "I just can't make a decent cup of coffee anymore." Having bought one for myself I had nothing but praise for this model. She was interested but didn't want to spend the money. I knew she would enjoy a good cup of coffee again but wouldn't spring for the $$$$ as she is 83 years old. I kept telling her it was so easy to use and she need not be fearful. So I bought it and sent it to her on her birthday. "It is idiot proof" she tells me and she is lovin' it. Keurig B30 Mini Brewer

My wife purchased this machine for me for Father's Day since I had been complaining about how much I spend at Starbucks. I had been looking at the different Keurig machines, and the other single serve brewers (senseo, Tassimo, etc.) My wife decided for me, and did a great job. I didn't need a water resevoir, because I am the only coffee drinker in my house, and the smaller footprint made it the perfect size for our limited counter top space. The coffee is not quite up to par with Starbucks, but at about 40 cents a cup (versus the 4 bucks for my cappucinos)it is more than good enough. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. We have an "old school" coffee maker, but I only use that when guests come over, because it is way too much work for just one cup. This thing gets used every morning before work, and sometimes after dinner. It is a bit weaker than I like (being a life-long espresso drinker), but still better than 90% of the coffee I get in restaurants, and most people homes. And if you like a particular flavor, you know that is what you will get every time as there is no measuring to mess up.
The machine itself looks pretty well built, and you would think it should sell for more, and that is because it should sell for more. Green Mountain (the maker of the Keurig) sells the machines at virtually no profit, so that you buy into the system, they then make their money off the K-Cups (I read somewhere they make about 7 cents a cup on the branded stuff, and a bit more on their own). And if you are worried that the machine will become discontinued and you won't be able to find k-cups, rest assured that is very unlikely as they are the biggest seller among these systems, and that margin should only grow as they just struck a deal with Wal-Mart to sell their products, and there is a Cuisinart K-cup system in the works.
